Can I make nut milk with my juicer?
Yes, you can make most types of nut milk with all our vertical slow juicers. Soak the nuts overnight. Process the nuts in the juicer using 1 part soaked nuts and 1 part water. You can create milk with almonds, soy, cashews, and rolled oats using this method.
Here’s a short instructional video.
Can I make oat milk with my juicer?
Yes, but make sure to use rolled oats. Check out our Rich & Creamy Oat Milk recipe and video for instructions!
Can your juicers process fruits and vegetables with seeds?
Soft seeds—like those found in apples, oranges, melon, and lemons—are safe to juice. Hard seeds and pits—like those found in cherries, peaches, and plums—can damage the juicer and must be removed. If you're making seed milk, such as pumpkin seed milk, you'll need to soak the seeds overnight before juicing.
If I juice a whole apple, will I get cyanide poisoning from the seeds?
No. You would need to very finely grind and eat over 200 apple seeds to get cyanide poisoning. Furthermore, the apple seeds are ejected with the pulp.
Can I juice citrus with the peel intact?
Limes and lemons can be juiced with their peel. You can juice oranges with their peel, but orange peels taste bitter. If you juice citrus fruits often, check out our citrus attachment specially designed for citrus juice.
What should I do with the juice pulp?
There are a lot of great ways to reuse juice pulp. You can make veggie burgers, crackers, dog treats, breads, muffins, and more. Sign up for our email newsletter or follow us on Instagram for pulp recipe inspiration.
Can I juice high-fiber vegetables?
Yes, you can! For the best results, we recommend cutting high-fiber fruits and vegetables into smaller pieces to help keep your juicer running smoothly by reducing the chance of fiber wrapping around parts or causing blockages.
Can I use frozen fruits in my juicer?
Yes, you can use frozen fruits in your juicer to make smoothies and sorbets. Be sure to use the smoothie strainer for smoothies and the blank strainer for sorbets. For the best experience, let the frozen fruit slightly thaw before adding it to the juicer. This helps protect the juicer and ensure smooth results. As a reminder, frozen or thawed ingredients should not be used with the juicing strainer.
General Product Questions
How are Kuvings juicers different from other juicers on the market?
Kuvings has been around for over 48 years. We were the first juicer company to introduce a wide-mouth feed chute, which allows fruits and vegetables to be juiced without pre-cutting. We also manufacture our own products, so we have an in-depth understanding of how our machines are designed and built. The quality of our products is guaranteed with our flexible up to 15-year warranty program. Read more about how Kuvings started and the value of our products.
All whole slow juicers include a special cleaning tool for cleaning the strainer, and a blank strainer for making sorbets. Our juicers are very versatile—you can make juices, smoothies, sorbets & frozen desserts, and instant nut milks!
What are our juicers made of?
Your health is our priority. All components of our juicers that come into contact with your ingredients are made from premium, food-grade, and BPA-free materials (such as Tritan and Ultem). They are free from harmful chemicals, ensuring a safe and healthy juicing experience.
Where are your products made?
All of our products are developed in South Korea and primarily manufactured at our own facility there, with a select number produced at our facility in China. Please refer to the Specs information on each product page to learn the country of origin. Celebrating 48 years of innovation, we are proud to be part of a community that centers around health and wellness.
What are Prop 65 and AB1200?
Proposition 65 and AB1200 require businesses to provide warnings to Californians about the use of specific chemicals in their products. Butadiene is present in the production of some parts of the motor base. It’s inside the motor base and doesn’t come in contact with you or your food.
The New York Times doesn't think you should worry about Prop 65. For additional information on Proposition 65, please visit the OEHHA website or the Proposition 65 website.
For additional information on AB1200, read the assembly bill.
What justifies the price point?
A great juicer is an investment in your health, and Kuvings juicers are built to last.To deliver products that are powerful, durable, and built to last, we use high-quality materials, such as Tritan and ULTEM. Our flexible, long-term warranty (up to 15 years) reflects our commitment to quality and customer service.
We are also proud of our machines' versatility. Our whole slow juicers can extract juice, make smoothies, create instant nut milks, and produce sorbets. Whole slow juicers start at $399, and we offer flexible payment plans to make our products more accessible to everyone.
Are your juicers cold press?
None of our slow juicers generate heat, so they are considered cold press. They don't have a hydraulic press like traditional cold press juicers, but instead they use a heavy auger to gently crush and press ingredients without generating heat. It's the most compact and affordable way to make cold-pressed juice at home.
Why are your products called masticating juicers?
"Masticate" means "chew," and that's essentially how our slow juicers process ingredients. Masticating juicers crush and press ingredients to extract juice, similar to how we chew our food. This is in contrast to centrifugal juicers, which use a spinning blade to grate ingredients. Centrifugal juicers generate heat and air, which can damage nutritional properties of the juice. Masticating juicers keep the maximum amount of nutrients intact.
Why are your juicers called "slow juicers?" Are they actually slow?
They may be called "slow juicers," but vertical masticating machines extract juice just as quickly as "high-speed" juicers. They're called slow juicers because they only need 50-60 rotations per minute to gently crush and press ingredients. High-speed juicers need to operate at 10,000 rotations per minute to finely chop ingredients.
What is the difference between commercial juicers and regular juicers?
Commercial juicers are designed for restaurants, juice bars, and cafés. Our commercial juicers are equipped with a 24-hour motor, a 3.5" feed chute, and heavy-duty materials. Additionally, the CS700 commercial model is UL EPH Classified to NSF/ANSI 8 with stainless steel parts. The warranty on commercial products is 1 year. The majority of juicers we carry, however, are home-use juicers. They operate with similar technology, and they come with a 10 or 15-year warranty.
What can I make with Kuvings Juicers other than juices?
Our household models come with strainers to make cold-pressed juices, plant milks, sorbets, and smoothies. The smoothie strainer is sold separately with the C7000 and B6000 models.
Does the juicer come with recipes?
All home use juicers come with a recipe book. We are always adding new and trending recipes to our website. Subscribe to our email newsletter to get recipe ideas delivered right to your inbox!
What is the benefit of the citrus attachment?
If you're making large quantities of citrus juice, using the citrus attachment can be more efficient. It acts as a motorized citrus juicer, so you don't have to peel the citrus. It also yields slightly more citrus juice. See how it works.
What’s the difference between the strainers?
The juicing strainer has small holes and a hole for the pulp and is used to make juices and plant milks. The smoothie strainer has larger holes and a silicone plug on the pulp opening to keep the pulp in your smoothie. Their top rims are labeled either “JUICING” or “SMOOTHIE”. The sorbet strainer is transparent blue, has ridges instead of holes, and has a spout.
What models are compatible with the hopper extension?
The hopper extension is only compatible with the AUTO10 and the AUTO10 Plus.
Are your juicers loud?
Slow juicers are also known as "silent juicers" because the motor turns more slowly, creating less noise than traditional high-speed juicers. Of course, our juicers are not completely silent, but they're far less noisy than high-speed juicers and blenders. The noise is at about conversation level.
Aside from KuvingsUSA.com, where else can I buy Kuvings products?
Kuvings is sold through many retailers. Check out our list of authorized retailers.
Do you provide customer support for Kuvings products purchased through other retailers?
We provide customer support to customers who purchase products available on kuvingsusa.com and use them within the USA and Canada, regardless of where the purchase was made. Just be sure to complete the product registration process and select the retailer you purchased from.
Does juicing fruits and vegetables remove their fiber content?
There are two types of fiber: soluble and insoluble. Fruit and vegetable juice contains soluble fiber, which lowers cholesterol, controls blood sugar levels, and more. The pulp contains insoluble fiber, which simply adds bulk to your stool. A balanced diet contains both types of fiber, but juicing is a great way to absorb a large amount of soluble fiber without filling your stomach with insoluble fiber.
Read more about soluble and insoluble fiber.
Juicer models
What’s the difference between the various juicer models?
We recommend reading our Slow Juicers Buying Guide to learn more about the differences between our household models and our Commercial Slow Juicers Buying Guide for our commercial/business models.
What is the difference between the AUTO10 Series and the REVO830?
The AUTO10 allows users to pre-load their ingredients into the auto hopper for hands-free juicing, while the REVO830 allows users to control when and in what order they insert their ingredients. Check out our comparison guide for more information.
What is the AUTO10 Plus?
The AUTO10 Plus is the upgraded version of the AUTO10. It’s a hands-free slow juicer that comes with a large hopper, hopper extension, and stainless steel blade. You can load a large batch of ingredients into the hopper, turn the juicer on, and watch it produce a high-yield of juice and dry pulp.
What can the AUTO10 Plus be used for? Is it only for juicing?
The AUTO10 Plus is multifunctional. You can use the AUTO10 Plus to make cold-pressed juices, plant milks, sorbets, and smoothies. Instead of buying or using multiple kitchen appliances to make the recipes, all you need is the AUTO10 Plus.
Does the AUTO10 Plus work with frozen ingredients?
You can use frozen ingredients with the smoothie strainer and sorbet strainer. Be sure to thaw the frozen ingredients for 3-5 minutes before use.
If I have the AUTO10, do I need the AUTO10 Plus?
Not necessarily. The main difference is the hopper size. If you’d like a larger capacity like the AUTO10 Plus, you can simply add the hopper extension to your AUTO10—it’s available for purchase separately.
Can I use the hopper extension with the AUTO10?
Yes. The hopper extension is compatible with the AUTO10 and is available for purchase.
Does the AUTO10 offer the same level of power as the AUTO10 Plus?
Yes. The primary differences are in the hopper. All other features, including motor specifications, remain the same.
What is the difference between the EVO820 and C7000/B6000?
The biggest difference between the three models is the feed chute where ingredients are inserted.
The B6000 and C7000 models have a 3-inch wide feed chute with a small “fin” protruding from the middle of the chute for safety. So, when inserting an apple into the B6000 or C7000, a pusher (included) is needed to glide the apple through the safety fin into the juicing screw.
The EVO820, however, has a 3.2-inch flip gate feed chute. The flip gate drops ingredients into the chute, eliminating the need for a safety fin. This way, you can simply drop an apple down the feed chute without using a pusher. The flip gate can also lock into place, providing a more narrow guide for inserting leafy greens.
Overall, EVO820 has the newest parts and motor design. It also comes with a smoothie strainer and sorbet maker, whereas the B6000 and C7000 only come with a sorbet maker.
What is the difference between the B6000 and C7000?
The two models are very alike, but the C7000 is a newer version of the B6000. The C7000 comes with a hopper (a flat-top funnel), that can be placed over the feed chute opening. The hopper makes it easy to place small items, like grapes, into the juicer. The C7000 also comes with a pulp strainer to place over the juice cup. This filters out any extra pulp within the juice. The B6000 does not come with these accessories.
Furthermore, the C7000 contains internal updates to the juicing parts for better yield and efficiency. The B6000 is our original whole slow juicer model, and is now available for about $50 less than the C7000 juicer.

Product Usage
How easy is it to clean the juicer?
It’s very easy! For a quick rinse between recipes, simply run water through the machine with the juice cap closed, then empty the water. For cleaning, we provide a special cleaning tool and brushes to make the cleanup process fast and easy. Here's a short video to help you get started.
Are our juicers dishwasher-safe?
Our Juicers are not dishwasher-safe. Instead, handwash the parts with mild soap and cold water. For a deep clean, spray the parts with white vinegar and wipe thoroughly. Here's a short video to help you get started.
How long can I store my juice?
Juice is best enjoyed right away to maximize the nutritional benefits, but it can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 72 hours. Separation may occur, but that is due to pulp settling within the juice, not oxidation.
In what order should I feed or load my ingredients?
If you have a hands-free juicer like the AUTO10 or AUTO10 Plus, place soft, small, and fibrous ingredients at the bottom of the hopper and hard, large ingredients on the top. Always adhere to the maximum capacity lines on the parts.
If you own a manual-feed juicer like the REVO830 or EVO820, feed your ingredients slowly and alternate soft ingredients with hard ingredients.
How do I make smoothies with my Kuvings?
Our whole slow juicers come with a smoothie strainer or a coarse strainer with larger holes for making smoothies. Read our smoothie strainer guide for more details.
What should be noted when using the Sorbet Strainer?
- The ingredients need to be peeled and pitted.
- The ingredients should be fully frozen (for 8 hours/overnight).
- The frozen ingredients should be thawed for about 3-5 minutes before putting them into the strainer.
How do I use the pulp press?
You can use the pulp press to help push your juice through the pulp strainer. It’s an alternative to using a spatula or spoon and a metal strainer.
What should I do if my Kuvings juicer is clogged?
Press and hold the reverse button for 3-5 seconds and switch back to the forward operation. Repeat this process a few times until the juicer is operating smoothly again. Also, consider disassembling the juicer and removing any excess pulp from the parts. If you’re still having issues, please contact us.
