1. GATHER YOUR INGREDIENTS
- 4 medium apples (see apple tips below)
- ½ medium peeled orange
- 1 lemon wedge
- ½ inch ginger root
- 1 cup cranberries
- 1 large pinch ground cinnamon or to your liking
- 1 large pinch ground nutmeg or to your liking
- 1 large pinch ground clove or to your liking
Use Fuji, Gala, or Golden Delicious apples for a sweeter cider. Pink Lady, Braeburn, or Jonathan will give you a more tart cider. Use a mix of both for a robust flavor.
2. WASH ALL OF YOUR PRODUCE

You can place your produce straight into the juicer but be sure to alternate from soft to hard produce.
For example, orange, apple, lemon, ginger, cranberries.
Doing this will help push all produce through the juicer for maximum yield.
4. MIX IN YOUR SPICES
This will consist of your cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove.
Alternative Ways to Prepare Your Apple-Cranberry Cider
When you mix in your spices, it’s also a good time for you to mix in other ingredients. A popular addition is honey or brown sugar for more sweetness. How much to add is up to you!
SERVE HOT OR COLD
If you’re serving the cider hot, put your scented candles away—heating up this cider will fill your home with the tastiest aroma. Pour your apple-cranberry cider into a stove pot and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes, just be sure your cider doesn’t start boiling.
