Parsley is often used as a garnish, but did you know it possesses many health benefits on its own? The herb is full of antioxidants, vitamin A, vitamin C, and more than the necessary daily amount of vitamin K. These properties are great for eye, heart, bone, and immune health.
- 2 medium oranges, peeled
- 1 banana, peeled
- 1 bunch parsley
Slow juicer, assembled with the juicing strainer.
- Cut ingredients into sizes that will fit the juicer’s chute.
- Juice the ingredients, alternating for best results. Slowly add ingredients to the juicer one piece at a time. Allow the juicer to process each piece before adding more ingredients.
- Stir finished juice to further combine. Serve chilled.
To properly clean parsley, immerse the herbs in a bowl of cold water. Drag and swirl parsley in the water to dislodge debris. Shake to remove excess water.
