Mango Kale Smoothie

This creamy mango kale smoothie is full of vitamin C and antioxidants. Bananas add extra sweetness, as well as potassium. Cashews contain fiber and protein to help you feel full.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup frozen mango, skin and seeds removed
  • 1 handful kale (about ¼ cup)
  • 1 frozen banana
  • ¼ cup cashews
  • ¾ cup milk

Serves 2.

Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer, assembled with the smoothie strainer.

Directions

  1. Defrost the frozen ingredients for 5 minutes. Wash the kale well. 
  2. Cut ingredients into sizes needed to fit the juicer's chute.
  3. Close the smart cap.
  4. Add ingredients to the juicer. Start with a little milk, then alternate between the ingredients for the best results. Be sure to add ingredients slowly, one piece at a time.
  5. Let the juicer run for about 1 minute to further mix the ingredients.
  6. Open the smart cap to release the smoothie. Serve chilled.
