Rehydrate with this juice on hot summer days. The electrolytes in watermelon will replenish your body, along with vitamin C and vitamin A.
- 1 cup watermelon, cubed with rind removed
- 1 cup lettuce
- 1 medium apple or pear
- ½ medium lemon
- 2 sprigs of mint
Slow juicer, assembled with the juicing strainer.
- Cut ingredients into sizes that will fit the juicer’s chute.
- Juice ingredients, alternating for best results. Slowly add ingredients to the juicer one piece at a time. Allow the juicer to process each piece before adding more ingredients.
- Stir juice to further combine. Serve chilled.
Any type of lettuce can be used in this recipe. However, darker leaf varieties tend to carry more nutritional benefits.
