Almond Butter Smoothie

Creamy and full of flavor, this almond butter smoothie is a healthy treat.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup apple slices, frozen 
  • ½ of an avocado, frozen
  • ¼ of a lemon
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tbsp maca powder
  • 1 tbsp flax seeds

Serves 1.

Directions

  1. Defrost the frozen ingredients for 5 minutes. Remove the pit and peel of the avocado.
  2. Close the juicer's smart cap. 
  3. Pour milk into the juicer. While the juicer is running, slowly add the apple slices, avocado, and lemon, alternating ingredients. Allow the juicer to process the ingredients one small portion at a time.
  4. Open the smart cap to release the smoothie.
  5. Stir almond butter, maca powder, and flax seeds into the smoothie. Serve immediately.
