Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer Immune Booster

This juice is full of nutrients to help strengthen your immune system. Carrots contain immune-boosting vitamin C plus antioxidants to help prevent cell damage. The anti-inflammatory properties in turmeric and ginger are also great for helping your body fight the flu. 

Ingredients

  • 1 medium apple
  • 4 carrots (about 7 inches each)
  • 1/4 cup ginger root (about 4 inches)
  • 1 inch turmeric root or 1/2 tsp powdered turmeric

Serves 2.

Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer, assembled with the juicing strainer.

Directions

  1. Wash all ingredients thoroughly. 
  2. Juice the ingredients, alternating for best results. Be sure to slowly add ingredients to the juicer one piece at a time. Allow the juicer to process each piece before adding more ingredients.
  3. Stir juice to further combine, if necessary. Serve chilled. 

Tip

Peel the ginger before juicing. Simply scrape the ginger with a spoon to easily remove the peel.
