Kale Juice

One of nature’s superfoods, kale is full of antioxidants, calcium, vitamin C, and beta-carotene. It’s also one of the best sources of vitamin K out there. Pear and cucumber make this juice taste sweet and refreshing. 

Ingredients

  • 5 kale leaves
  • 1 medium cucumber
  • 1 medium pear

Product Needed

Slow juicer, assembled with the juicing strainer.

Directions

  1. Wash the ingredients well. Soak kale in water for 3-5 minutes to soften.
  2. Cut ingredients into sizes that will fit the juicer’s chute.
  3. Juice the ingredients, alternating for best results. Slowly add ingredients to the juicer one piece at a time. Allow the juicer to process each piece before adding more ingredients.
  4. Stir finished juice to further combine. Serve chilled.

Serves 2.
