Superfood Shots

Leafy greens are superfoods because they are packed with abundant nutrients, specifically vitamins A, C, K, chlorophyll, and more. This juice recipe uses three different types for a power-packed shot.

Ingredients

  • 3 apples
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1 bunch kale
  • 1 bunch wheatgrass
  • 1-inch piece of ginger

Serves 6.

Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer, assembled with the juicing strainer.

Directions

  1. Wash and roughly chop the ingredients.
  2. Turn on the juicer.
  3. Hands-free juicer: Load the leafy greens at the bottom of the hopper, followed by the ginger and apples. Close the lid.
  4. Manual-feed juicer: Feed the ingredients into the juicer. Alternate between the soft leafy greens and the apples.
  5. Pour the juice into small bottles and enjoy!
