Orange Creamsicle Sorbet

Orange Sorbet The best dessert for an after meal.  Experience Level: Intermediate Ingredients 1¼ cup oranges wedges, peeled and frozen ⅓ cup evaporated milk ¼ cup vanilla yogurt 1 banana, sliced and frozen ¼ cup sliced almonds (optional) Product Needed Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer, assembled with the blank strainer. This sorbet puts a heathier spin on a favorite frozen treat. Banana and vanilla yogurt create a smooth and creamy texture, while oranges provide natural sweetness.

Ingredients

  • 1¼ cup orange wedges, peeled and frozen
  • ⅓ cup evaporated milk
  • ¼ cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1 banana, sliced and frozen
  • ¼ cup sliced almonds (optional)

Serves 1.

Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer, assembled with the blank strainer.

Directions

  1. Defrost the frozen ingredients for 5 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the the evaporated milk and yogurt.
  3. Add an orange wedge, a banana slice, and a bit of the milk and yogurt mixture to the juicer. Continue alternating the ingredients. Be sure to add ingredients slowly to prevent build-up.
  4. Mix the extruded sorbet with a spoon to fully combine the flavors.
  5. Top with sliced almonds (optional). Serve immediately.
